Sellers I Speak The Truth

The real estate market IS getting better for sellers, if they are properly prepared for it.  I am honest, maybe brutally with my sellers and for that I sometimes am rewarded and other times I am disliked.  I always, always ask my potential sellers up front if I can be honest with them and they all say "yes, that's what we want".  However, often when it gets down to it, they don't really mean "yes", they mean "yes, as long as it's what I want to hear".  I can give example after example of I told you so's but that is pointless.  As an experienced real estate agent, my job is to get your home sold for the best price possible in the quickest amount of time possible.  If you cooperate with me and process the data that I give you, you will see the numbers don't lie.  If I say you need new carpet or you need to de-clutter, it is not because I want you to spend money or to give you busy work- it is all in the name of selling your home. I know what it takes to get your home sold and if you will let me be your guide, trust in me as so many others have over the years, then you too shall be blessed with the SOLD sign!

New Spartanburg-RealEstate.com website COMING SOON!!!

I am so excited that I have found my new website provider and I will be working hard to get this published as quickly as possible.  New fresh look, new information, social media widgets, broader marketing reach for all my clients and so much more.  Top Producer was my choice after a couple months of researching, countless unanswered calls and emails to other companies and I can't wait to roll it out.  My intent is not only to incorporate my Visual Tours, but also new Video Walking Tours as Realtor.com is allowing us to post these on our Enhanced Package that Century 21 Blackwell has for all of its agents.  Last year the real estate business was better for me than the two years prior to that and I just know that 2011 is going to be even better!

Searching for Good Customer Service

We all have different views on what good customer service is and those of us in the service industry tend to mimic what we expect or respond to.  I am on a quest to get a new real estate website as my current provider of several years and several thousands of my dollars- has become less and less appealing.  Times change, products improve and therefore, your product must reflect the changes or get left behind. I deal with this constantly in the every changing landscape of real estate marketing.  I have called a couple of companies that I was interested in, left messages which have not been returned and emailed requests for more information which have also gone unanswered.  If I did this in my business, I wouldn't have one.  Is is safe for me to assume they have enough business already and are not interested in more?

Routine Dental Cleaning

Nothing like starting off your day headed to the dentist to get your blood pressure up- unless of course you relish the sound of metal scraping against your teeth, having your gums picked by a small sword, the nasty paste coating your tongue, teeth and face or the device that acts as though it could suck the wallpaper off the wall.  So, I am not a fan of the dentist from a traumatic experience as child and far be it for me to forgive or forget that!  Thank goodness I have found a great dentist(s) here is the Boiling Springs, SC area in the brothers Dr. Ray at Carolina Dental Studios.  From the minute I walk in the moment I walk out, the staff is top notch and I thank them wholeheartedly for making my dreaded trips to the dentist more than just tolerable, but enjoyable.

Home Warranty

At my weekly Century 21 sales meeting on tap for today, is a speaker from a Home Warranty company.  Sellers-did you know that buyers are more likely to buy a home that has a warranty on it than one that does not?  It's TRUE!  Buyers- did you know that the warranty companies pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for repairs on their clients home every year?  They D0!  Not buying or selling but don't have a lot of money for unexpected repairs?  Home Warranty companies will let you pay in monthly installments for your coverage to make it affordable for you.  When a covered item breaks down, one phone call and a small service call fee can get your broken item repaired or replaced with no additional services.  Call me if you need information concerning a home warranty.

Entering the Bloggisphere

Designing a blog is much harder than I thought...details, details!  I really just want to communicate with folks and have a nice looking site but the choices are astounding.  Excited to get started on this venture, I want to keep the ideas to write about fresh, informative, useful and fun.  Secretly or not so secretly, I have always wanted to make people laugh and that is how I get the most pleasure out being a wife, a mother, the cheerleader for my kids numerous activities and as a full time real estate agent.  Every day is different in each of these jobs that I do, every hat I wear each day- a different color.  I would be so bored if it was the same day in and day out.  So, here's to TODAY, a glorious sunny, albeit windy warm day.
